As scrubs become more and more popular, people are using them in more aspects of their life. Scrubs already have a long history of use at work, and many people have begun using them as lounge wear or pajamas because they are so comfortable. But sports medical scrubs have even become useful for recreation and exercise purposes as well. These particular types of hospital scrubs use the same sizes and styles that regular scrubs do, but they can be used in multiple, fun and functional roles.

Sports scrubs tops are very versatile and a favorite for sports and exercise. They are usually loose-fitting, meaning that they provide great range of motion for arms. Many people feel comfortable wearing them in a pick-up basketball game, or a backyard football tournament. Sports medical bottoms are favored for the same reasons. Both tops and bottoms in these scrubs are used for jogging and lifting weights. There are hundreds of other things that can be done in these types of clothes. As an added advantage, sports scrubs are made of cotton which feels comfortable on the skin and wicks away sweat, letting the skin breathe and keeping the wearer cooler.

Sports scrub wear is also popular for supporting a favorite team. These scrubs can have team logos and images embroidered on both the tops and bottoms. True fans may even enjoy fabric that is printed all over with team logos. The majority of sports hospital scrubs feature NFL teams, although basketball and college mascots are also available.
